Slump Example


The slump technique in pottery is most often used with bowls, cups, plates, etc. Slumps are ceramics in concave form which means they cave in. I picked this piece because it slumps at the bottom. It looks like it was made inside a bowl and then taken out. This is similar to what I would like to do for my slump/hump project. Rather than making just a bowl, making something different that still has a slump to it.
